Narrative:
Taxiing out in T33. Aircraft has no nosewheel steering. Left brake failed and aircraft departed taxiway to the right at low taxi speed. Became stuck in ditch paralleling taxiway. Pilot shut down engine prior to leaving taxiway to reduce thrust to zero, but aircraft had sufficient momentum that pilot was unable to keep aircraft on taxiway with right brake only.
