Downwind to runway 26 iah, approach vector at 6000 ft, received TA 2 O'clock, 5 NM, -1000 ft (5000 ft). Received RA 2 O'clock, 2 NM, 200 ft (5800 ft MSL). Climbed to 6200 ft MSL, saw lear jet pass directly below at -200 ft TCASII (6000 ft MSL). On clear of conflict, descended back to 6000 ft. ATC said 'air carrier X, you have traffic out there, it's a lear jet.' that's all that was said.
