Narrative:
The events that occurred are as follows. C150 practicing takeoff/lndgs on runway 5. The winds were at a 90 degree angle and variable. Active runway was runway 5. C150 made a full stop landing and was taxiing back for takeoff. While taxiing a tail dragger was seen landing on runway 5. We then proceeded to takeoff for another pattern run. We never heard or saw any other aircraft at or near the airport. We turned final (short final) and saw another aircraft, a C172 departing runway 23. Both aircraft diverted to the right and continued on the flight paths. We parked the aircraft and inquired to unicom on the events. Due to an unknown radio problem in our aircraft, the position reports were never heard. We were on downwind for runway 5 when unicom switched the active to runway 23. Unicom was not aware that we were using runway 5. Therefore neither aircraft were heard or even seen. The other plane, the C172, was never seen by us, C150, due to blind spots, crossing, and color of wings and airframe. C172 seemed to blend into the background of the landscape. At no time were there 2 aircraft occupying the same runway. At no time was safety an imminent problem, and the event was reported as radio trouble. I feel this should be reported because it may happen again, at uncontrolled airports with aircraft that do not have radio capability or are experiencing radio failure.

Title: C150 WITH INSTRUCTOR ABOARD HAS NMAC WITH C172 IN PATTERN AT UNCTLED ARPT.
Narrative: THE EVENTS THAT OCCURRED ARE AS FOLLOWS. C150 PRACTICING TKOF/LNDGS ON RWY 5. THE WINDS WERE AT A 90 DEG ANGLE AND VARIABLE. ACTIVE RWY WAS RWY 5. C150 MADE A FULL STOP LNDG AND WAS TAXIING BACK FOR TKOF. WHILE TAXIING A TAIL DRAGGER WAS SEEN LNDG ON RWY 5. WE THEN PROCEEDED TO TKOF FOR ANOTHER PATTERN RUN. WE NEVER HEARD OR SAW ANY OTHER ACFT AT OR NEAR THE ARPT. WE TURNED FINAL (SHORT FINAL) AND SAW ANOTHER ACFT, A C172 DEPARTING RWY 23. BOTH ACFT DIVERTED TO THE R AND CONTINUED ON THE FLT PATHS. WE PARKED THE ACFT AND INQUIRED TO UNICOM ON THE EVENTS. DUE TO AN UNKNOWN RADIO PROB IN OUR ACFT, THE POS RPTS WERE NEVER HEARD. WE WERE ON DOWNWIND FOR RWY 5 WHEN UNICOM SWITCHED THE ACTIVE TO RWY 23. UNICOM WAS NOT AWARE THAT WE WERE USING RWY 5. THEREFORE NEITHER ACFT WERE HEARD OR EVEN SEEN. THE OTHER PLANE, THE C172, WAS NEVER SEEN BY US, C150, DUE TO BLIND SPOTS, XING, AND COLOR OF WINGS AND AIRFRAME. C172 SEEMED TO BLEND INTO THE BACKGROUND OF THE LANDSCAPE. AT NO TIME WERE THERE 2 ACFT OCCUPYING THE SAME RWY. AT NO TIME WAS SAFETY AN IMMINENT PROB, AND THE EVENT WAS RPTED AS RADIO TROUBLE. I FEEL THIS SHOULD BE RPTED BECAUSE IT MAY HAPPEN AGAIN, AT UNCTLED ARPTS WITH ACFT THAT DO NOT HAVE RADIO CAPABILITY OR ARE EXPERIENCING RADIO FAILURE.
