Narrative:
Flight departed normally from runway 3C (dtw). After gear up and flaps retracted, the #3 hydraulic qty depleted to zero. The #1 and #2 hydraulic system continued to function normally. We requested that the emergency vehicles be standing by for landing. We had the flight attendants prepare the cabin and passenger for a possible evacuate/evacuation upon landing. All appropriate checklists were completed. A normal landing was made on runway 3L in dtw. The passenger did not evacuate/evacuation. We taxied safely to the gate where all passenger deplaned.
