Narrative:
Encountered heavy moderate turbulence en route slc-bos over syr at FL370. Suspect upper windshear associated with jetstream. Heard of turbulence from ATC both above and below us, but not at FL370 or FL330. Had no warning of its quick arrival. Moderate intermediate chop during descent, up to final approach speed. Nobody reported hurt on arrival at bos. Flight attendants did an excellent job in their duties and communications.
