Narrative:
Taxi into gate in anc with marshaller and wing walkers. Cargo igloo on right side looks close. We stop. Wing walker and marshaller signal move forward and clear. First officer has head out window watching progress, while wing walker signals clear, right wing strikes igloo. No damage to igloo or airplane. Wing was no longer visible to me as we pass igloo. First officer has limited perception even when looking with head outside of plane. Decisions -- if aircraft appears close enough to object that neither pilot can determine for sure if we will clear it, stop and have the object moved, or the aircraft towed.

Title: TAXIING INTO GATE, FLC KNEW THE CARGO IGLOO WAS VERY CLOSE TO WINGTIP, BUT WING WALKER AND MARSHALLER BOTH DIRECTED THE ACFT FORWARD INDICATING THE WINGTIP WAS CLR. IT WASN'T, THOUGH RPTR CAPT SAYS THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO EITHER THE WINGTIP OR THE CARGO CART.
