Narrative:
We were expecting a visual approach to runway 21L at detroit and briefed accordingly. However, we were interrupted by a call from the flight attendants before we could read the approach checklist. As a result we read the approach checklist when descending below 10000 ft in IMC conditions and we were in a hurry. The incorrect ILS frequency was set and we didn't catch the error. The FMS map display showed runway 21L, but when the localizer didn't intercept we continued on our assigned heading until approach control asked which runway we were lined up with. We retuned the ILS and turned to intercept the runway 21L localizer. No more was said by ATC.

WE RETUNED THE ILS AND TURNED TO INTERCEPT THE RWY 21L LOC. NO MORE WAS SAID BY ATC.
