Narrative:
On flap retraction after takeoff call from 5-2 degrees the leading edge flap amber lights did not go out -- a confirmation on the so panel indicated the inboard l-hand leading edge flap was in transit. This was also confirmed by the aircraft tendency to roll to the right. We followed the abnormal section of our company manual and were unable to correct the problem. We knew normal leading edge devices were available for landing. We dumped 6200 pounds of fuel and returned to msp for a normal landing. No emergency was declared.

Title: FLC OF AN LGT DUMPED FUEL AND RETURNED TO LAND AFTER EXPERIENCING A LEADING EDGE FLAP RETRACTION PROB.
Narrative: ON FLAP RETRACTION AFTER TKOF CALL FROM 5-2 DEGS THE LEADING EDGE FLAP AMBER LIGHTS DID NOT GO OUT -- A CONFIRMATION ON THE SO PANEL INDICATED THE INBOARD L-HAND LEADING EDGE FLAP WAS IN TRANSIT.
