Narrative:
We were climbing out of the denver area. We were cleared to FL230 and at FL220 both the PF and myself observed 1000 ft to go verbally. When we heard the altitude alarm we both realized we had climbed through FL230. The PF immediately descended back to FL230. The controller came on to remind us we were cleared to FL230.
