Narrative:
We did a normal approach and landing in VFR conditions at our home base airport which we've been operating out of for a long period of time. And earlier this same day, we did a normal takeoff out of the same airport. After landing, we were approached by an irate person who accused us of flying too low over his house and violating the FARS. He claimed we were less than 1000 ft. Yes we were because he lives very close to our runway, I believe on final approach about .3 mi from the end of our runway. I then explained to him that the distance requirements do not apply to aircraft during takeoff and landing as per far part 91.119 which in this case definitely applies. He was an ignorant person who would not listen to my explanation or accept it. He made threats of reporting us for low flying. We did nothing out of the ordinary and we did nothing contrary to FARS.

Title: THE RPTR IS ACCUSED BY AN IRATE ARPT NEIGHBOR OF FLYING TOO LOW IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING OFF AND LNDG AT THE ARPT.
Narrative: WE DID A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG IN VFR CONDITIONS AT OUR HOME BASE ARPT WHICH WE'VE BEEN OPERATING OUT OF FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. AND EARLIER THIS SAME DAY, WE DID A NORMAL TKOF OUT OF THE SAME ARPT. AFTER LNDG, WE WERE APCHED BY AN IRATE PERSON WHO ACCUSED US OF FLYING TOO LOW OVER HIS HOUSE AND VIOLATING THE FARS. HE CLAIMED WE WERE LESS THAN 1000 FT. YES WE WERE BECAUSE HE LIVES VERY CLOSE TO OUR RWY, I BELIEVE ON FINAL APCH ABOUT .3 MI FROM THE END OF OUR RWY. I THEN EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE DISTANCE REQUIREMENTS DO NOT APPLY TO ACFT DURING TKOF AND LNDG AS PER FAR PART 91.119 WHICH IN THIS CASE DEFINITELY APPLIES. HE WAS AN IGNORANT PERSON WHO WOULD NOT LISTEN TO MY EXPLANATION OR ACCEPT IT. HE MADE THREATS OF RPTING US FOR LOW FLYING. WE DID NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY AND WE DID NOTHING CONTRARY TO FARS.
