Narrative:

GPS went off about 30 mi from destination airport (vdi) and last few xmissions to ZJX (before canceling IFR with airport in sight about 10 mi at 12 O'clock) were garbled on both aircraft transmitters. Gear switch selected about on downwind, left pattern flown to runway 6 vdi, approach and landing uneventful till touchdown, when aircraft rolled forward a few ft, suddenly settled about a ft, then propeller struck. Application of full power produced strong yaw to left (full flaps still extended) so pilot closed throttle, leveled wings and slid off runway to left. Mechanic reported prior alternator problem (erratic) suspects alternator went offline early in trip, battery became low (voltage) causing GPS to quit and communication radios to become garbled. Non pilot passenger remembers seeing green gear lights but mechanic suspects lights not really on, but since landing east with sun at back, were only reflecting.

Title: THE LNDG GEAR OF A PA28R FOLDED ON ROLLOUT. THERE WAS ACFT DAMAGE PROP, FLAPS, ANTENNAE, ETC.

Narrative: GPS WENT OFF ABOUT 30 MI FROM DEST ARPT (VDI) AND LAST FEW XMISSIONS TO ZJX (BEFORE CANCELING IFR WITH ARPT IN SIGHT ABOUT 10 MI AT 12 O'CLOCK) WERE GARBLED ON BOTH ACFT XMITTERS. GEAR SWITCH SELECTED ABOUT ON DOWNWIND, L PATTERN FLOWN TO RWY 6 VDI, APCH AND LNDG UNEVENTFUL TILL TOUCHDOWN, WHEN ACFT ROLLED FORWARD A FEW FT, SUDDENLY SETTLED ABOUT A FT, THEN PROP STRUCK. APPLICATION OF FULL PWR PRODUCED STRONG YAW TO L (FULL FLAPS STILL EXTENDED) SO PLT CLOSED THROTTLE, LEVELED WINGS AND SLID OFF RWY TO L. MECH RPTED PRIOR ALTERNATOR PROB (ERRATIC) SUSPECTS ALTERNATOR WENT OFFLINE EARLY IN TRIP, BATTERY BECAME LOW (VOLTAGE) CAUSING GPS TO QUIT AND COM RADIOS TO BECOME GARBLED. NON PLT PAX REMEMBERS SEEING GREEN GEAR LIGHTS BUT MECH SUSPECTS LIGHTS NOT REALLY ON, BUT SINCE LNDG E WITH SUN AT BACK, WERE ONLY REFLECTING.
