Narrative:
ATC facility: shanwick ATC. Location: 5215N. Upon initial contact with shanwick, they advised that we were 14 NM south of track. All IRU's were close to each other, but the FMC position was about 13 mi from the average IRS position. When we received our first VOR update a verify message 'verify position' message on the FMC was displayed.
