Narrative:
Arriving in the cvg area, all 3 cockpit crew members heard a clearance to cross henna (cvg 055 degrees/43) at 10000 ft and 250 KTS. While descending through 11200 ft the controller indicated he cleared us to cross henna at 12000 ft but to maintain 11000 ft now. We suggest the controller was wrong, but this report is being submitted just in case we were wrong. There was no traffic conflict.

Narrative: ARRIVING IN THE CVG AREA, ALL 3 COCKPIT CREW MEMBERS HEARD A CLRNC TO CROSS HENNA (CVG 055 DEGS/43) AT 10000 FT AND 250 KTS. WHILE DSNDING THROUGH 11200 FT THE CTLR INDICATED HE CLRED US TO CROSS HENNA AT 12000 FT BUT TO MAINTAIN 11000 FT NOW. WE SUGGEST THE CTLR WAS WRONG, BUT THIS RPT IS BEING SUBMITTED JUST IN CASE WE WERE WRONG. THERE WAS NO TFC CONFLICT.
