Narrative:
Holding short of runway 11, noticed cessna 150 landing on runway 11. Shortly after cessna landed on runway 11, we were instructed to 'taxi into position and hold runway 11.' tower 'cleared for takeoff on runway 11 for lear jet.' the horizon was just at dusk at this time. Just before the intersection of runway 5/23 the cessna 150 came into my view on the right side of runway 11 facing south still on runway 11. I steered my lear jet over to the left side of runway 11 and just avoided a collision with the cessna 150, after which I continued my takeoff. On climbing out, I contacted the bed tower and asked why the cessna 150 was still on runway 11 and we were 'cleared for takeoff' at the same time? The tower replied with a phone number to contact them.
