Narrative:

On jul/xx/96, at about XA15 uct I was climbing out of grafton airport traffic pattern with a cub type experimental aircraft using runway 17. At about 500 ft AGL the engine quit and during the subsequent landing the gear was collapsed and a left longeron was bent. During the investigation it was found that the routing of the fuel lines caused the fuel flow to stop if fuel in right tank was 1/2 full or less in a climb attitude.
