Narrative:
Shortly after takeoff, flight attendants reported to captain of passenger and other flight attendants smelling smoke of an electrical or burnt rubber nature. ATC was notified of crew's intent to return to sdq. An emergency was declared when handed off to sdq tower. An uneventful landing was made at 342000 pounds as per flight manual.

Title: AN ACR A300 FLC ARE TOLD BY CABIN ATTENDANTS OF AN ELECTRICAL OR BURNING RUBBER ODOR IN THE CABIN AND THEY RETURN TO SDQ FOR A PRECAUTIONARY LNDG.
Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER TKOF, FLT ATTENDANTS RPTED TO CAPT OF PAX AND OTHER FLT ATTENDANTS SMELLING SMOKE OF AN ELECTRICAL OR BURNT RUBBER NATURE. ATC WAS NOTIFIED OF CREW'S INTENT TO RETURN TO SDQ. AN EMER WAS DECLARED WHEN HANDED OFF TO SDQ TWR. AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG WAS MADE AT 342000 LBS AS PER FLT MANUAL.
