Narrative:
After touch and go at ewk, upon rotation and takeoff, I felt a problem with the nose gear as the nose dropped and had a propeller strike. Due to airspeed I took off and flew the plane. On the trip back to augusta, I tried to recycle the gear electrically and then tried to manually lower gear but no light indication of gear up or down and plans had greatly reduced airspeed. Decision made to fly plane and check gear. Ground reports and air visual reports of main gear down and nose gear not in place. Due to poor flying characteristics, decision was made to land as soft field landing. Results, nose gear in up position. Mains were partial down. Poh was consulted before landing and emergency procedures was done for gas off and electrical off after landing assured.
