Narrative:

During takeoff cockpit began to fill with smoke. Takeoff was aborted between 110-120 KTS. (V1 was 135 KTS.) flight attendants had some smoke in cabin. Announcement was made to inform attendants of problem and ease passenger concerns,. Brake temperature charts checked. Maintenance advised us to return to atl gate with emergency equipment escort. Supplemental information from acn 349310: aircraft was returned to line after maintenance had washed engines (using chemical cleaners) -- suspect that they did not run-up engines after wash, but who knows? My flight attendant team did a great job in taking control of cabin.
