Narrative:
While en route to slc on J94, ZMP, 135.87, inquired if we were receiving onl VOR ok. We stated yes, but the needle had been wavering a little. At that moment we were approximately 50 DME approaching the VOR and had about a 35 degree crab to maintain course. ZMP said that with our heading we would miss the VOR by 15 mi. At that time we were making a slight correction but pretty much showed centerline on J94. The controller at that time gave us a heading for scottsbluff VOR. We stated that an aircraft earlier had report problems with onl. The controller checked with 2 other aircraft and they reported receiving onl ok. The controller gave a frequency change but the new controller passed along from the previous controller that no other flts experienced any troubles receiving onl. The flight proceeded without incident and no further VOR problems.

Title: SUPER MD80 ENRTE SLC ON J94 50 MI E ONL. CTR QUESTIONED IF ON AIRWAY OR HAVING PROBS WITH ONL VOR. SLIGHT DEV FROM CTRLINE. CTLR ADVISED ON PRESENT HDG WOULD MISS ONL BY 15 MI. RECLRED HDG TO BFF. BAL OF FLT SLC NORMAL.

THE CTLR CHKED WITH 2 OTHER ACFT AND THEY RPTED RECEIVING ONL OK. THE CTLR GAVE A FREQ CHANGE BUT THE NEW CTLR PASSED ALONG FROM THE PREVIOUS CTLR THAT NO OTHER FLTS EXPERIENCED ANY TROUBLES RECEIVING ONL. THE FLT PROCEEDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND NO FURTHER VOR PROBS.
