Narrative:
The captain had attempted to contact company operations at hsv on 129.20 for TA's several times, but nobody answered. The only station that responded was lit whom we had asked to relay our message to hsv to answer our calls. Lit told us hsv received our message, but we still could not raise hsv. The captain then tried to call dispatch through communication radio. They did not answer either. As we were on the approach to hsv, we saw the runway 15 NM out, canceled IFR with ZME about 4 NM out and landed. At the gate the agent informed us she never heard our calls on either of the 2 radios. Supplemental information from acn 352201: I decided the safest thing I should do is concentrate on traffic lookout and advisories (CTAF) and help the first officer with approach. Ground crew and agent were waiting at the gate. They never heard calls. Agent said she tried hand held as well as company radio.

THE ONLY STATION THAT RESPONDED WAS LIT WHOM WE HAD ASKED TO RELAY OUR MESSAGE TO HSV TO ANSWER OUR CALLS. LIT TOLD US HSV RECEIVED OUR MESSAGE, BUT WE STILL COULD NOT RAISE HSV. THE CAPT THEN TRIED TO CALL DISPATCH THROUGH COM RADIO. THEY DID NOT ANSWER EITHER. AS WE WERE ON THE APCH TO HSV, WE SAW THE RWY 15 NM OUT, CANCELED IFR WITH ZME ABOUT 4 NM OUT AND LANDED. AT THE GATE THE AGENT INFORMED US SHE NEVER HEARD OUR CALLS ON EITHER OF THE 2 RADIOS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 352201: I DECIDED THE SAFEST THING I SHOULD DO IS CONCENTRATE ON TFC LOOKOUT AND ADVISORIES (CTAF) AND HELP THE FO WITH APCH. GND CREW AND AGENT WERE WAITING AT THE GATE.
