Narrative:
All NASA's research on circadian rhythms and diurnal cycles seems to have been lost on deaf ears. When I attempted to alert powers to be, I received the enclosed response which stated that if it meets FARS and doesn't violate the contractual agreements that safety is not an issue. This demonstrates the need for more stringent rules regarding crew scheduling and the lack of wisdom of the previous nprm which would have relaxed same.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: RPT BY FO ON A MAJOR ACR RELATED TO FLC WORK SCHEDULING AND FLC BEHAVIOR FATIGUE CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS.
Narrative: ALL NASA'S RESEARCH ON CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS AND DIURNAL CYCLES SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN LOST ON DEAF EARS.
