Narrative:
Center gave clearance to cross zizzy intersection at FL190 to maintain FL180. At FL187 center asked our altitude and we replied FL187. They said to maintain FL190 since we hadn't reached zizzy intersection yet. We complied and they reclred us to FL180. During all of this, center gave us a turn to heading 270 degrees. I can't exactly recall if the heading was given prior to or after the descent. If given after, this would negate the altitude crossing restr.

Title: NON ADHERENCE TO ATC CLRNC INSTRUCTION REGARDING AN ALT XING RESTR. FLC CLRNC INTERP THOUGHT ALT XING RESTR CANCELED ACCOUNT TURN HAD BEEN GIVEN.
Narrative: CTR GAVE CLRNC TO CROSS ZIZZY INTXN AT FL190 TO MAINTAIN FL180. AT FL187 CTR ASKED OUR ALT AND WE REPLIED FL187. THEY SAID TO MAINTAIN FL190 SINCE WE HADN'T REACHED ZIZZY INTXN YET. WE COMPLIED AND THEY RECLRED US TO FL180. DURING ALL OF THIS, CTR GAVE US A TURN TO HDG 270 DEGS. I CAN'T EXACTLY RECALL IF THE HDG WAS GIVEN PRIOR TO OR AFTER THE DSCNT. IF GIVEN AFTER, THIS WOULD NEGATE THE ALT XING RESTR.
