Narrative:
B727 flight cvg-sea FL350. Aircraft using omega navigation on direct routing to glasr intersection on glasr 3 STAR and approximately 30 mi east of geg VOR. ATC called and asked if we were proceeding to glasr. I responded that we surely thought we were. ATC informed me that we were 18 mi north of the projected direct routing, at which point we corrected back on course, we disconnected the omega and continued on to glasr using VOR only navigation. Up to this point in the flight the omega had been working well. We had taken several fixes using VOR and DME information and all fixes were good. Landed in sea and advised maintenance to check out omega system.
