Narrative:
Landed runway 3 to hold short of runway 30. Turned off at taxiway F1 and ground instructed us to turn left onto taxiway G and taxiway E1 to the ramp. We questioned the instruction to go onto taxiway G and ground confirmed the instructions. Taxi to the ramp was without incident. Upon arrival at the gate, we noticed a new company restr prohibiting use of taxiway G. Taxiway appears to have no unusual obstructions or limitations and we don't know why air carrier would restrict its use. First officer had new page, but it was misfiled in commercial pages. Captain did not have new page because distribution was behind revisions at both dca and ord.
