Narrative:
O'hare on simultaneous runways 27L and 27R ILS approachs, I was working runway 27R final (low side). Incident occurred after the arrival rush, and I was talking only to 3 aircraft. The runway 27L final was extended past 25 mi turn on point, and was running 6 mi spacing. My final (runway 27R) was almost empty, I then told air carrier X, aircraft #1, to expedite descent with speed, his discretion. As I vectored air carrier X toward a base turn approximately 10 mi northeast of ord aiming the aircraft for a 'gap shot' between the runway 27L arrs, the excess speed air carrier X was carrying caused the turn to be wide. Despite my attempts to continue the aircraft turning, the speed pushed him toward parallel traffic. Air carrier Y, my aircraft, rolled out just north of runway 27R localizer at same altitude as the air carrier Y runway 27L traffic. Cause -- poor judgement on my part. I should have controled speed or extended air carrier X to a normal turn on point of 20 mi for simultaneous ILS procedures.

Title: APCH CTLR WORKING THE RWY 27R ILS APCHS DURING SIMULTANEOUS APCH CONFIGN TRIED TO 'SHOOT THE GAP' WITH A B727 AND DIDN'T USE SPD CTL. THE B727 OVERSHOT THE FINAL APCH AND HAD LTSS WITH A B737 ON THE FINAL FOR THE PARALLEL RWY. RPTR ADMITS TO POOR JUDGEMENT ON HIS PART AS TFC WASN'T THAT HVY AT THE TIME.
Narrative: O'HARE ON SIMULTANEOUS RWYS 27L AND 27R ILS APCHS, I WAS WORKING RWY 27R FINAL (LOW SIDE). INCIDENT OCCURRED AFTER THE ARR RUSH, AND I WAS TALKING ONLY TO 3 ACFT. THE RWY 27L FINAL WAS EXTENDED PAST 25 MI TURN ON POINT, AND WAS RUNNING 6 MI SPACING. MY FINAL (RWY 27R) WAS ALMOST EMPTY, I THEN TOLD ACR X, ACFT #1, TO EXPEDITE DSCNT WITH SPD, HIS DISCRETION. AS I VECTORED ACR X TOWARD A BASE TURN APPROX 10 MI NE OF ORD AIMING THE ACFT FOR A 'GAP SHOT' BTWN THE RWY 27L ARRS, THE EXCESS SPD ACR X WAS CARRYING CAUSED THE TURN TO BE WIDE. DESPITE MY ATTEMPTS TO CONTINUE THE ACFT TURNING, THE SPD PUSHED HIM TOWARD PARALLEL TFC. ACR Y, MY ACFT, ROLLED OUT JUST N OF RWY 27R LOC AT SAME ALT AS THE ACR Y RWY 27L TFC. CAUSE -- POOR JUDGEMENT ON MY PART. I SHOULD HAVE CTLED SPD OR EXTENDED ACR X TO A NORMAL TURN ON POINT OF 20 MI FOR SIMULTANEOUS ILS PROCS.
