Received a call dec/tue/96 at XA30 pm from company flight standards supervisor that on maintenance postflt mechanic found lower cowling damage to #1 engine, possible ground contact. There wasn't any engine abnormalities during takeoff, cruise and landing. Awaiting further details from company.

Narrative: RECEIVED A CALL DEC/TUE/96 AT XA30 PM FROM COMPANY FLT STANDARDS SUPVR THAT ON MAINT POSTFLT MECH FOUND LOWER COWLING DAMAGE TO #1 ENG, POSSIBLE GND CONTACT. THERE WASN'T ANY ENG ABNORMALITIES DURING TKOF, CRUISE AND LNDG. AWAITING FURTHER DETAILS FROM COMPANY.
