Received a call dec/tue/96 at XA30 pm from company flight standards supervisor that on maintenance postflt mechanic found lower cowling damage to #1 engine, possible ground contact. There wasn't any engine abnormalities during takeoff, cruise and landing. Awaiting further details from company.
