Narrative:

Uneventful landing on runway 9L ord, with 200 ft ceiling and 1/2 mi visibility in snow and fog. Upon taxiing to gate under acupark system, B727 struck a fuel truck parked inside our safety zone. We were on our acupark line and hit the truck approximately 8 ft from the gate. Recommendation: under low visibility or when safety zone lines are obscured, a marshall should always be used! Damage to #1 leading edge slat on left wing was an 8 inch gash on leading edge and underneath wing.
