Narrative:
I was instructed to pick up freight and take it to mci. Realizing this was in violation of far part 135, I protested, but was ordered to proceed as instructed. I did the flight, but have since realized it is not worth the risk of a violation and have informed my superiors that I will not accept such flts in the future. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter flies the MU2 for the aviation department of a corporation. To achieve greater utilization for the aircraft the corporation is in the process of acquiring certification under part 135 of the FARS. The reporter was ordered to carry cargo for another air carrier prior to the issuance of the part 135 certificate. The local FSDO has looked into this matter. Part 135 certification is not yet complete and the reporter is no longer accepting this type assignment.
