Narrative:
After takeoff at pit new WX for dfw had changed from forecast VFR to CAT III minimums. Planned arrival with no alternate and little extra fuel. On arrival dfw aircraft's ILS not working properly, so diverted okc. Have had several diversions recently because of totally incorrect WX forecast. Seems forecast WX not very dependable. This combined with minimum ramp arrival fuel program and even small equipment problems can lead to an unsafe operation. It also seems that dispatch is very slow to inform the crews of these changing conditions and the crew is on their own in checking WX, finding alternates, etc. This can be difficult if ACARS is inoperative.
