Narrative:
En route from clt to mem, flight MEL'ed with right pack inoperative. Started our initial descent for mem 30 mi north of bna. Cabin started to climb. We did the emergency checklist and were still unable to control cabin. We elected to declare an emergency and diverted into bna.
