Narrative:
While flying under approach control to den, ATIS was reporting VFR conditions. On the downwind to ILS runway 35R WX began to deteriorate (RVR 6000+ ft). On final RVR 1800 ft, at the marker RVR 1200 ft, rollout 1000 ft. At decision ht of 106 ft RA we saw the approach lights followed by the runway. At approximately 50 ft we lost sight of the runway. We initiated a go around. During rotation the main gear struck the runway lights. We continued the climb out. We flew a missed approach to byers VOR and held. We held approximately 15-20 mins. The WX improved to 1200 ft RVR and we flew a successful approach and landing to ILS runway 35L.
