Narrative:

ATC facility: abq approach control. Location: just southeast of abq on arrival, crossing ridge. WX was clear. While under positive control from abq approach control. On the arrival, we were level at 10000 ft. As we crossed the ridge line preparing the approach to runway 3 we got 2 cycles of terrain, terrain. The correct altitude setting was set. We queried approach control and they said ours was the first alert ever mentioned. Had the WX been poor or had it been at night it would have been interesting.
