Narrative:

I was making aerial applications approximately 2 mi southeast of the ono airport. I had been working in the area most of the day. We had been departing runway 14 and landing runway 32 since the wind was light and variable. At approximately XA00 hours, I was approaching to land runway 32 from a right base, and turning to a short final. I first observed another aircraft (C180) low on short final for runway 14. Both pilots executed a missed approach to the right. I entered a right downwind for runway 14. The C180 then landed behind me on runway 14. We were never closer than 3/4 mi. The C180 pilot followed me to the loading site, very irate! The following discussion, I explained it would certainly help myself and other pilots if he would turn on landing lights when at uncontrolled field, which offended him. I informed him mine is on at all times. The problem is that the terrain north of ono airport rises about 250 ft. Once an aircraft is below pattern altitude, it is very difficult to see due to ground clutter, especially head-on. We pilots need to develop an attitude we will do everything possible (especially at uncontrolled airport) to help each other see and avoid, no matter our position at the airport. We need to be aware when we are most invisible to other aircraft and use all available aids to make ourselves more visible to others.

Title: AGRICULTURAL PLT ON APCH TO LAND HAS TFC APCH FROM OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO LAND. BOTH ACFT MAKE GAR AND LAND ON SAME RWY. PLT OF SECOND ACFT BECOMES VERY IRATE.

Narrative: I WAS MAKING AERIAL APPLICATIONS APPROX 2 MI SE OF THE ONO ARPT. I HAD BEEN WORKING IN THE AREA MOST OF THE DAY. I FIRST OBSERVED ANOTHER ACFT (C180) LOW ON SHORT FINAL FOR RWY 14. BOTH PLTS EXECUTED A MISSED APCH TO THE R. I ENTERED A R DOWNWIND FOR RWY 14. THE C180 THEN LANDED BEHIND ME ON RWY 14. WE WERE NEVER CLOSER THAN 3/4 MI. THE C180 PLT FOLLOWED ME TO THE LOADING SITE, VERY IRATE!
