Flight attendant notified me passenger had a box with a hazmat label 'flammable liquid.' passenger agreed to open box and no hazmat was in box (contained gifts). Passenger indicated his origin was chicago. Apparently no one questioned passenger about hazmat.

Narrative: FLT ATTENDANT NOTIFIED ME PAX HAD A BOX WITH A HAZMAT LABEL 'FLAMMABLE LIQUID.' PAX AGREED TO OPEN BOX AND NO HAZMAT WAS IN BOX (CONTAINED GIFTS). PAX INDICATED HIS ORIGIN WAS CHICAGO. APPARENTLY NO ONE QUESTIONED PAX ABOUT HAZMAT.
