Narrative:
During a business flight, I had flown most of the trip to and from wisconsin. On the return flight, about 8 mi to the southeast of lafayette, the other pilot, a CFI mei rated pilot, takes over as PIC at which point he descends from 5500 ft and then makes several low passes as low as 10-15 ft above the surface. These low passes were made through open farm fields and not near to any building or structures. I did confirm his status as PIC, and also asked about the safety and legality of his flying and was informed that he would take responsibility for his actions.
