Narrative:
Left aft entry door EICAS message and light. Flight attendant found retainer strap closed in door, handle would not reseat. Diverted to dfw (scheduled for mem-las). Cabin pressure was normal, but when reduced for arrival, door came ajar on short final to dfw. Declared emergency and landed uneventfully. No damage or injuries. Continued on to las after maintenance signed off log.

Title: B757-200 ACFT HAD RETAINER STRAP CLOSED IN EXIT DOOR CAUSING PRESSURIZATION PROB. FLT DIVERTED AND WHEN SLOWING DOWN, THE DOOR CAME AJAR. FLC DECLARED EMER AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY.
Narrative: L AFT ENTRY DOOR EICAS MESSAGE AND LIGHT. FLT ATTENDANT FOUND RETAINER STRAP CLOSED IN DOOR, HANDLE WOULD NOT RESEAT. DIVERTED TO DFW (SCHEDULED FOR MEM-LAS).
