Narrative:
We were climbing to FL330, but became distraction by events in the cockpit, did not hear the altitude alert chime, and missed our leveloff. At FL335 we took action to descend. There were no conflicts. We had been flying aircraft with automatic leveloff features, but this one did not have one. Leveloff is one of the most important things we do and everyone must be attentive at that time.
