Narrative:
Cleared to taxi to runway 1R via taxiway south to taxiway C to runway 1R. Missed taxiway C due to confusion at the intersection of taxiway sg and taxiway C. Taxied just past hold line when told to stop by ground control. Stopped about 50 ft short of runway edge. No conflict with other traffic. Las is unusual in that there are no taxiway edge lights -- just green centerline lights. Doing checklists, trying to get a new ATIS, and fatigue due to the time of night, compounded a different visual picture which caused me to miss the taxiway sign and runway hold line.

Title: MLG ACFT TAXIING AT NIGHT WITH CLRNC TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY. RPTR CAPT RPTS THE FLC WAS CONFUSED AT THE INTXN OF TXWY SG AND TXWY C RESULTING IN XING THE RWY HOLD LINE. GND CTLR INTERVENED AND STOPPED THE FLC FROM CONTINUING. RPTR SAYS THAT LACK OF TAXI EDGE LIGHTS ALSO MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO IDENT TXWYS. ALSO CONTRIBUTING, WAS FATIGUE.
