Narrative:

I, the captain of this flight and PNF on this leg, was busy with the descent check. While getting approach ATIS for our destination airport, a crossing restr was issued by ATC. The first officer miscalculated the descent and failed to make the assigned restr of 15 mi west of fak at FL210.
