Narrative:
After takeoff from bna on runway 20C, I was asked to visually identify a B737 lifting off on runway 20L. I idented the B737 at my 8 O'clock position and reported contact to the tower. The tower then instructed me to maintain visual separation and turn left to 140 degrees. After the B737 reached my 9 O'clock position and was approximately level with my aircraft, I began my turn. I passed behind and below the B737 but set off his TCASII. He subsequently reported that I came within 300 ft of an aircraft. This violation of the far was caused by my general inexperience and more specifically my lack of experience in high performance light twins. I was expecting a greater rate of separation than what actually occurred. Further, my control inputs were not sufficient to correct the situation as soon as it was discovered. I have subsequently received additional flight training in the BE58 and will be more cautious about maneuvering in the vicinity of other aircraft.

Title: CORPORATE PLT OF BE58 TOLD TO MAINTAIN VISUAL SEPARATION FROM B737 ON PARALLEL RWY TURNS BEHIND AND BELOW THE ACFT SETTING OFF THE TCASII.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF FROM BNA ON RWY 20C, I WAS ASKED TO VISUALLY IDENT A B737 LIFTING OFF ON RWY 20L. I IDENTED THE B737 AT MY 8 O'CLOCK POS AND RPTED CONTACT TO THE TWR. THE TWR THEN INSTRUCTED ME TO MAINTAIN VISUAL SEPARATION AND TURN L TO 140 DEGS. AFTER THE B737 REACHED MY 9 O'CLOCK POS AND WAS APPROX LEVEL WITH MY ACFT, I BEGAN MY TURN. I PASSED BEHIND AND BELOW THE B737 BUT SET OFF HIS TCASII. HE SUBSEQUENTLY RPTED THAT I CAME WITHIN 300 FT OF AN ACFT. FURTHER, MY CTL INPUTS WERE NOT SUFFICIENT TO CORRECT THE SIT AS SOON AS IT WAS DISCOVERED. I HAVE SUBSEQUENTLY RECEIVED ADDITIONAL FLT TRAINING IN THE BE58 AND WILL BE MORE CAUTIOUS ABOUT MANEUVERING IN THE VICINITY OF OTHER ACFT.
