Narrative:

ZJX called to say that a canine handler in training at sju had left a package of C4 explosive onboard the aircraft. He said it was in seat 1J magazine holder. We found the package and on arrival at the gate I handed it to captain xx of dfw security. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states the explosive was not a hazard unless one had a detonator. It was placed in the cockpit in the crew drawer during the flight. There has been no follow up of any nature but the company has changed its policy and will not allow such training aboard their aircraft anymore. The canine team was called away on another mission and forgot the explosive.
