Narrative:
Landed at lax runway 25L without clearance to land. Cleared for approach by socal approach to contact tower at intersection left. We were behind a B757. We were working to stay out of wake turbulence and failed to contact tower prior to landing. After landing rollout approach advised us to contact lax tower. We did while holding short of runway 25R. We asked him if he needed us to call. He stated no problem. No conflicts or evasive action was required. Normal landing and taxi in.
