Narrative:
On approach into atl, at 7000 ft, I had an oil filter vibration light come on for #2 engine. The engine was shut down according to procedure and an uneventful landing was made in atl, GA.

Title: FLC OF A LOCKHEED L1011 SHUT DOWN THE #2 ENG AFTER THE ENG VIBRATION FILTER PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON DURING FINAL APCH 5 MI OUT. AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG WAS MADE.
