Narrative:
Descended into pit. Left engine oil quantity slowly decreased to near zero. Engine oil pressure remained stable, then dropped to below 35 psi. Engine was shut down as per handbook and an emergency was declared. We requested and received vectors for a full turn to complete all applicable checklists. We were then cleared for a visual approach and landed normally.
