Narrative:
On approach to lax at 8000 ft, encountered major wake turbulence from preceding aircraft later idented as DC10. Our B737 encountered moderate buffet and rolled left to approximately 45 degree bank. Aircraft recovered after about 10 seconds, both ATC and air carrier notified immediately. Medical requested to meet plane. Flight attendants injured.

Title: FLC OF A B737 EXPERIENCE WAKE TURB FROM A PRECEDING DC10 DURING FINAL DSCNT AND APCH AT APPROX 8000 FT AGL CAUSING THE ACFT TO ROLL L APPROX 45 DEGS AROUND THE ROLL AXIS OF THE ACFT. THE ACFT WAS RECOVERED IN 10 SECONDS. THERE WERE FLT ATTENDANTS INJURED WHO WERE GIVEN MEDICAL ATTN AFTER LNDG.
Narrative: ON APCH TO LAX AT 8000 FT, ENCOUNTERED MAJOR WAKE TURB FROM PRECEDING ACFT LATER IDENTED AS DC10. OUR B737 ENCOUNTERED MODERATE BUFFET AND ROLLED L TO APPROX 45 DEG BANK.
