Narrative:
Dispatch office memo instructed dispatchers to facsimile approach plates for a new CAT ii approach into eze. (11-1A and 11-2A dated may/97 for eze.) these plates lack the required threshold crossing ht and radar altitude for CAT ii operations. Alerted my supervisor and subsequently the procedure was discontinued. However, these plates had been faxed to crews as early as jul/97 and instructed crews to use them for CAT ii operations.
