Narrative:
I did not get a green nose gear down indication on final approach into akron, so we talked to our dispatch control, went through the emergency checklist, flew by the tower and landed runway 23 at akron. We did declare an emergency, however, landed without incident. The nose gear light was burnt out.

Title: A BEECH 1900D AT THE OM ON APCH DECLARED AN EMER DUE TO FAILURE OF THE NOSE GEAR DOWN AND LOCK INDICATION CAUSED BY A BURNED OUT BULB.
Narrative: I DID NOT GET A GREEN NOSE GEAR DOWN INDICATION ON FINAL APCH INTO AKRON, SO WE TALKED TO OUR DISPATCH CTL, WENT THROUGH THE EMER CHKLIST, FLEW BY THE TWR AND LANDED RWY 23 AT AKRON. WE DID DECLARE AN EMER, HOWEVER, LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE NOSE GEAR LIGHT WAS BURNT OUT.
