Narrative:
While working the radar position, I received a loud tone/squeal in my right ear. I was just monitoring the frequencys, no buttons were pushed, no aircraft transmitted. This is at least the 25TH such occurrence that has been documented since mar/95. The FAA is not taking action to correct this problem, even though numerous ucr's have been filed.
