Narrative:
Approximately 80 mi south of jfk, ZNY gave us a descent from FL330 to FL280. Seat belt sign was turned on and descent to FL280 accomplished. Just past jfk VOR ZNY gave us 20 NM north of jfk at FL240. I told first officer that the crossing was a little tight but a descent of 3000 FPM would do. First officer selected vertical speed and set speed approximately 10 KTS below red line then selected level change. Speed brakes were used at 1/2. At FL260 airspeed trend arrow spiked completely in the red and we entered moderate turbulence. No reports of turbulence had been given by center or other aircraft in the area. First officer disconnected autoplt and slowed aircraft rate of descent to control increases of airspeed. Turbulence ended at FL250. A few mins later, flight attendant reported we had an injured passenger, doctor attending, with possible broken ankle and could we have paramedics meet aircraft at bos. I asked flight attendant to keep me informed and to get me more information. Priority was requested and given from ZBW. A PIREP was given to ZBW. We proceeded direct to bos and landed on runway 4R. Paramedics met aircraft.

Title: PAX INJURED ON AN A300 DURING DSCNT WHEN ACFT ENCOUNTERS UNRPTED TURB AT FL260. TURB ENDED AT FL250. ACFT'S AIRSPD WAS NEAR RED LINE IN DSCNT. ACFT REQUIRED A HIGH RATE OF DSCNT FOR A LATE XING RESTR ISSUED FROM ZNY.
Narrative: APPROX 80 MI S OF JFK, ZNY GAVE US A DSCNT FROM FL330 TO FL280. SEAT BELT SIGN WAS TURNED ON AND DSCNT TO FL280 ACCOMPLISHED. JUST PAST JFK VOR ZNY GAVE US 20 NM N OF JFK AT FL240. I TOLD FO THAT THE XING WAS A LITTLE TIGHT BUT A DSCNT OF 3000 FPM WOULD DO. FO SELECTED VERT SPD AND SET SPD APPROX 10 KTS BELOW RED LINE THEN SELECTED LEVEL CHANGE. SPD BRAKES WERE USED AT 1/2. AT FL260 AIRSPD TREND ARROW SPIKED COMPLETELY IN THE RED AND WE ENTERED MODERATE TURB. NO RPTS OF TURB HAD BEEN GIVEN BY CTR OR OTHER ACFT IN THE AREA. FO DISCONNECTED AUTOPLT AND SLOWED ACFT RATE OF DSCNT TO CTL INCREASES OF AIRSPD. TURB ENDED AT FL250. A FEW MINS LATER, FLT ATTENDANT RPTED WE HAD AN INJURED PAX, DOCTOR ATTENDING, WITH POSSIBLE BROKEN ANKLE AND COULD WE HAVE PARAMEDICS MEET ACFT AT BOS. I ASKED FLT ATTENDANT TO KEEP ME INFORMED AND TO GET ME MORE INFO. PRIORITY WAS REQUESTED AND GIVEN FROM ZBW. A PIREP WAS GIVEN TO ZBW. WE PROCEEDED DIRECT TO BOS AND LANDED ON RWY 4R. PARAMEDICS MET ACFT.
