Narrative:
Aircraft xx arrived in hnl with #1 engine anti-ice valve pops circuit breaker. I inadvertently placarded anti-ice valve inoperative per MEL xx-a. I should have used xx-B. I was notified of the mistake after aircraft xx was in-flight to lax.
